Hugo Denée

Hugo Denée is a co-founder of Longstock. Prior to this, Hugo was a Managing Director and Head of Acquisitions of Squarestone Growth LLP, a regionally-focused fund investing in office and industrial assets. During his tenure at Squarestone, Hugo also worked on residential and commercial projects throughout the UK and both built and managed the vertically-integrated team across asset management, development management and finance functions. 

Hugo previously worked within the Central London development and investment teams at Cushman and Wakefield, where he advised on the development of the American Embassy, TFL’s joint venture with CapCo on Earl’s Court and the funding of Battersea Power Station. 

Hugo holds an MSc in Real Estate Management from Oxford Brookes University and an undergraduate degree in Business & Economics (first class) from the University of Exeter. Hugo is also a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. 

Co-Founder

Tristan de Souza

Tristan de Souza is a co-founder of Longstock. Prior to this, Tristan served as the head of the European team of WeWork Capital Advisors, which has executed on a number of large-scale acquisitions and repositionings within the office sector. Prior to this, Tristan held senior positions for over 10 years within the real estate private equity practices of institutional investment groups (including at PIMCO, MSREF and Merrill Lynch’s Global Principal Investments unit), where he was involved in more than £5 billion of deals in origination, acquisition and asset management capacities.   

Tristan’s transaction experience includes public and private markets; performing and distressed situations; debt, equity and hybrid instruments; the spectrum of traditional and alternative asset classes (including operating assets); and hard asset, development and platform formats. 

Tristan holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA (first class) in Economics and Management from The University of Oxford.  He serves on the Alumni Advisory Board of Pembroke College, Oxford. 

Co-Founder

Meg specialises in leasing and asset management at Longstock. Prior to this, Meg worked in JLL's Glasgow office agency team, where she spent over seven years on commercial real estate leasing and development projects and strategic initiatives on behalf of clients ranging from global corporations to local niche firms.

Meg is a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) and holds a first-class BSc (Hons) in Real Estate Surveying from Edinburgh Napier University.

Meg Beattie

Francesca specialises in origination and transaction management at Longstock. Prior to joining, Francesca worked for over four years in Knight Frank's national offices team within the capital markets division, where she advised major institutional and private equity clients on acquisitions, disposals and portfolio strategy across the UK.

Francesca holds a BA in Geography from the University of Cambridge and an MSc in Real Estate from the University College of Estate Management. She is a also a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS).
